McCoy Construction Co. is a general construction firm specializing in all types of building construction.  Our main volume of business is medium sized to large commercial, institutional and industrial work.  In addition, McCoy Construction has developed subdivisions and apartment complexes.

McCoy Construction has access to several metal buildings, including United Structures of America, and America Building Company Buildings.

One of the main policies of McCoy Construction that has made it successful for over 70 years, comes from the personal attention given every project by one of the stockholders.  The firm has never failed to complete obligations or pay our bills.

McCoy Construction is a member of the Association of General Contractors of America (AGC).  Terry McCoy is Past President of Central Illinois Builders (local chapter of AGC) and also served 18 years on its Board of Directors. He also served 2 years as a National Director of AGC. Douglas J. McCoy is presently serving on the Board of Directors of Central Illinois Builders and is also its past president.

We are pre-qualified by the State of Illinois Capital Development Board, and by the Illinois Department of Transportation.

In 1993, McCoy Construction Co. received the Thomas H. Madigan "Outstanding Achievement Award" for renovation of Fell Hall at Illinois State University (a Capital Development Board Project).
